Beginner Piano I

Beginner Piano This class teaches piano and music basics for those who have little to no experience. Students will receive individualized instruction based on their level of musical experience. Beginners will learn to read musical notation and the names of notes on the keyboard. More experienced students will advance in the use of chords and arpeggios, as well as jazz and blues patterns. The SCC piano lab offers individual keyboards and headphones to allow students of various levels to progress at their own rates. Required for class: supplies explained as class progresses.
